Hello everyone,

So maybe I have had a moment of madness (have been thinking about it for a while) most of you know I have been bitten by the swimming bug. So I have decided to through myself in a deep end (great pun). I am doing the Topsham to Turf estuary swim which raises money for the Estuary League of friend’s charity http://www.estuary-league-of-friends.co.uk/ on the 6th of August 2011

This is quite a full on swim it is a mile and a half with drag. To say it is a challenge is an understatement. So I am stepping up my training and I know I can do it. As long as I get a pint and a burger at the turf that will keep me going.

Anything you can donate will be gratefully received I have to raise a minimum of £25 to be able to take part in the swim.
