We have chosen to join this year's Sleep out from home to help  raise much needed funds to help the men, women and children, who through no fault of their own find themselves homeless and living on the streets of Northampton. This past year has created many financial problems for the Hope Centre trying to survive through Covid-19. Due to the pandemic, the Hope centre has lost out on funds normally raised through various events that generate the much needed funding to continue to help and look after the homeless people of Northampton. This is a charity which is under threat of  not being able to offer the services to its service users as its funding is not coming in as before. Hope needs more help from monies raised to keep up its good work looking after the people who sadly find themselves in the very poor and sad predicament.

Please can you help? even if it is a little bit, it can go a long way.

It is different this year due to COVID. The NHS has asked that for the participants safety, it is done at home in a safer environment away from the elements due to the fear of people getting sick and putting the NHS under even more pressure. We have to sleep on the kitchen floor for a 12 hour period, lying on sheets of cardboard with just a sleeping bag. Sadly the homeless community have no other options but to sleep outside every night. The Hope Centre provides warm and dry bedding, hot drinks and food and a safe place to stay when the weather conditions are really severe. They also offer "SWEP", Severe Weather Emergency Protocol which is run by Northampton Borough Council, the Hope Centre Staff and a group of volunteers which comes into force when the temperature drops below zero degrees for 3 consecutive nights.

This is all about saving lives.

Please can you help by donating !!!!!!! Please dig deep !!!!!!!!
