Join thousands of Refuge supporters taking on the Ironwoman challenge throughout the month of September!
Story
Thousands of Refuge supporters will be challenging themselves to complete an Ironwoman throughout the month of September. This self-recorded, fundraising challenge is open to anyone. It doesn't matter how you complete the challenge, as long as you challenge yourself!
Your fundraising will make a massive difference to the women and children we support on a daily basis.
Raising just £10 could provide a woman arriving at a refuge with the support she needs for her first night.
£52 could fund her and her children's stay.
£185 could fund the running of the National Domestic Abuse Helpline for an hour.
£500 could run one of our refuges for one day.
Every £1 counts!
This September, we are hoping to raise £95,000 together. Are you up to the challenge?

Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in West London in 1971. We support thousands of women & children every day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.
