We Save lives at sea through education to make the beach a safer place

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We and other coaches from our club will be running the endurance life classic quarter (https://www.endurancelife.com/classic-quarter ) as a challenge to ourselves to raise funds for our community based club ( http://www.holywellbayslsc.co.uk ) which helps save lives at sea through education as well as running active beach patrols. Our club has been featured on the BBC's saving lives at sea proving the active role that it plays in beach safety.

Our club is also active as a sports club competing at all ages in local and national competitions in surf lifesaving and our youngest members (Nippers) are the current Cornish champions showing our commitment to the health and well being of the children involved with the club.

We believe that this charity is a really worthy cause as it does so much for the community both locally as well as the droves of tourists who head to our beaches every summer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

As a Surf lifesaving club our objective is to keep our community safe in the surf and on the beach. We spend our time educating people from young children (Nippers) to senior members of the community (Masters). We offer training in many aspects of surf lifesaving including swim competency right through to Surf life saving awards as well as various coaching awards. we have an active patrol on our beach in order to keep the wider community and tourists safe and we are actively involved in the sport of surf lifesaving giving children and adults the opportunity to stay fit and active.
