Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Alzheimer’s affects everybody. Since starting my marathon journey I have had lots of conversations with carers and relatives of patients with Alzheimer’s. Having a resource such as the Alzheimer’s Society where I can guide them towards  information and support is invaluable. Being able to direct them to local support group and activities wouldn’t be possible without donations and funding. These all make a beneficial difference to peoples lives. 

I have seen the affects dementia can have upon the patient and their family. The positive the Alzheimer’s Society provides for everybody is the reason I chose to run to support them.
