Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In September 2009 a group of us are going to cycle the 1007 miles from lands End to John O'Groats, and I'll be raising money for the MS Trust.
Why? Rohan is a friend of mine from University. He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of multiple sclerosis (MS) when I shared a house with him in Bristol. Rohan has since met and married a wonderful lady called Claudia and they now have a lovely daughter called Emily. Because of mobility issues a lot of the day to day things we take for granted are a huge hurdle for them as a family. Despite this they remain positive, good humoured and happy. They really are an inspiration to us all. Rohan would hate to think that we are going to cycle all that way just for him. I suppose we are doing it for the challenge but I may as well raise awareness and do some good on the way. When I asked Rohan what charity he would raise money for he said the MS trust because they do so much to help MS sufferers to live a full life. This bike ride will be tough for us but not as tough as the things MS sufferers face throughout their lives. At least we can get off at the other end. Just five pounds would really help towards our goal. Thanks very much for taking the time to read this.
