Richmond Running Festival 2014 · 21 September 2014 ·

We support people with Down’s syndrome to live full and rewarding lives.

Story

Well I am afraid I am at it again…

In 2013 I was silly enough to run the London Marathon and then was unable to walk for a week! (apparently crawling upstairs on the tube is unacceptable)

This time the distance is less but the cause is much closer to my heart. I will be running the Richmond Half Marathon (13.1 instead of 26.2miles) for the Downs Syndrome Association.

Some of you may know that this year I worked closely with a child with Downs Syndrome and have never been as professionally fulfilled and happy to be at work as I was with this little man. This run isn't in memory of him it's because he inspired me over and beyond anything I have experienced to date. I am beyond passionate about this cause and the training and information I received through them.

I would appreciate ANY donations, pennies or pounds it all makes a difference! If donating please also give a song to add to my playlist to motivate my little leggies.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Lots of Love and Training Runs

Sara xx
