Story
I am excited to announce that on June 9th, 2024, a group of CMH supporters will be combining their love of fitness with our passion for excellent healthcare close to home. This year, we will be walking again from Cambridge to Paris, this time with an amazing and expanded group of 20 people!! We will also increase the $5,000 raised during the 2023 walk to a cumulative total target of $10,000 for the 2024 walk. Every bit helps!

We have three goals:
1. To raise awareness about hospital equipment needs in our community
2. To continue to raise funds for CMH and, the new MRI and more top notch equipment.
3. Have some fun walking on our beautiful Paris Trail, which is part of the Trans Canada Trail!!
Accordingly, our goal is to increase our funding campaign to a total of $10,000, of which $5,000 has already been successfully raised with last year's walk.
Did you know that Cambridge Memorial Hospital's equipment is 100% funded by community dollars?
That means that our Hospital depends on the generosity of people like you and me when purchasing lifesaving equipment like an MRI.
Diagnostic Imaging is at the core of patient care and a new MRI would provide clearer, faster, and more accurate results ensuring patients are receiving top tier healthcare. CMH purchased its first MRI in 2012 and ten years later as technology evolves, so do the increasing needs of Cambridge and North Dumfries.
This is an investment that benefits all of us, so please join us in supporting Cambridge Memorial Hospital by donating, spreading the word and sharing this page.
Let's help CMH get the equipment they need so they can be there for us when we need it most!
Thank you,
Sara Alvarado, CMH Board of Directors Member and Chair, HIS Committee
