Hello to the Children and Young at Heart in North Hillingdon and Ickenham

I am so much looking forward to seeing and waving to you as we pass through the the streets of Ickenham and North Hillingdon this December.  I hope you have been good girls and boys.  

I would love it if you could draw or paint me a picture please and put it in your window.  If a grown up could post it on social media #RotaryHillingdonSanta2020 and # your street name, that would be great.

Any money the grown ups can donate will help charities supported by the Rotary Club of Elthorne-Hillingdon, especially Coram LIfe Education and London Air Ambulance.  This year has been very difficult for many charities, who have had to cancel many fundraising activities. Thank you for your generosity.

People often ask me how old I am; well, I am not going to tell you!  I am over 70 and that does mean I have to especially careful this year.  Please wave at me from your front door and I will wave back.  I will look forward to seeing how much taller you have got in 2021 when I will be able to do fist bumps and handshakes again.

Because I will have to use hand gel when visiting your house on Christmas Eve (the government has recognised the elves and I as essential key workers), it will take me a little longer to visit every child, so it is especially important that you go to bed early this Christmas eve.
