Story

So last year i raised over 100pounds by shaving my beard into a monkey tail style.

This year I have decided to go one better and grow my beard through all of October, November and December then for christmas dye it white and get my inner Santa on!!

For Personal reasons I am not raising money for the usual charities that these events would normally raise money for instead all proceeds will be going to Yorkshire Cancer Research.

there are three main fundraising events that have inspired me are:

Movember, this is a popular fund raising activity that encourages men to grow their moustaches in aid of prostate cancer and runs throughout the month of November.

Decembeard is like Movember but a little less popularised, this again encourages men to grow their beards. they raise money for testicular cancer. Decembeard is ultimately what i'm doing. The guys who organise this movement and I have found them to be very dedicated and passionate people who deserve as much recognition as Movember.

Dryathalon (dry January) is a month after christmas where you abstain from alcohol for the full month. Dryathletes tend to raise money for any charity they like.

Should you wish to donate money to these charities in my name, please do so and let me know via twitter (you can also find pics and updates) @christophrost

For now... Ho, Ho, Ho and a bottle of non alcoholic rum!!!!!!!!
