We offer information, support and research to people affected by Crohn's and Colitis
Story
After the Birmingham Half Marathon I said 'never again' so I don't
really know what's happened but here I am; about to run another half marathon.
And not just any half marathon – this is the biggest and best the UK has to
offer. No pressure then.
I've carried on with my running since the Birmingham Half in 2012 and so
training has been a little easier this time round but it's still been full of
ups and downs...
Whilst running on holiday in south Wales I got bit by a dog and had to
have a tetanus jab. I got lost running in the Wyre Forest, to the point where I
was attempting to make me a shelter for the night. And running along the road
one morning I incurred the disgust of one woman who obviously thought I was far
too old and female to be doing such a thing!
Hopefully none of the above will occur during the actual race so all
should be fine!
Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Crohn's
research needs all the help it can get, so just give what you can - it means a
lot. :)
Thank you.
San
P.S. And really - I promise you - this is the last one I'm doing.
