Story
Hi all and thank you for reading. We are four everyday regular guys who fancy making a healthy change to our lives whilst supporting a worthwhile cause. We are honoured to be supporting Action Medical Research who as a charity are leading the way in research to help save babies lives and help stop much inevitable heartache for families. The event is an unusual triathlon where we will be cycling, canoeing and hiking in one day. All of us will be doing at least one event that is alien to us and by default of us four being of South Asian heritage, we do not want to be swimming in that lake! Please do give generously and we can promise you all that we will put the work in to complete the event in a respectable manner and to the best of our ability. This event is no walk in the park! Action Medical Research are the leading UK charity funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children and young people. At Action Medical Research we are determined to stop the suffering of babies and children caused by disease and disability. By supporting us, you are helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases. Teams of four are taking part in this extremely tough dawn to dusk event where they will cycle 55 miles around the incredible winding lanes of the Brecons , navigate a 2-mile course on Lake Llangorse, and finally summit of Pen Y Fan, the highest mountain in the Brecon Beacons with an altitude of 886m, on an 8 mile round trip to raise money for this incredible cause. With your help, we're determined to make a real difference to children's lives.
