I have been given the incredible opportunity to go to Uganda (East Africa) on an International Citizen Service Entrepreneur (ICSE) placement with Challenges Worldwide in March 2016. 

ICSE is a fantastic UK Government funded volunteer programme where young people from the UK work on development projects alongside young people in some of the world's poorest countries to help fight poverty and leave a legacy of lasting positive change. This programme also encourages active citizenship in our own local communities once we return to the UK.

Challenges Worldwide is a pioneering social enterprise that aims to tackle poverty by supporting local entrepreneurs, helping them grow their businesses to generate income and to create sustainable economic growth.

Before I go on my placement, I need to raise funds for the charities involved in the ICSE programme so that they can continue doing all the amazing work they do [Find out more on Challenges Worldwide here: http://challengesworldwide.com/].
