Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After a year away from fundraising, I'm at it again in 2011. So far this year I've done the Loony Dook at South Queensferry on New Year's Day (it was cold) and climbed Ben Nevis (it was high).

But the big one is next up... the Berlin marathon in September.  After almost a year off running, or indeed pretty much any exercise, with a persistent back injury it's going to be very tough to get back up to the level of fitness required to complete a marathon but I do like a challenge!

Care International work with people in the poorest parts of the world, and are one of the charities involved with the Disasters Emergency Committee, who are on site within hours to support people and limit the negative impact when major natural disasters occur.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
