As many of you know, Sandy dedicated much of his life to his community and raising money for charity. As we know that so many of you would have liked to attend his funeral, we have set up this just giving page in lieu of a collection. Barbara and family have chosen this charity as Marie Curie nurses showed such kindness and provided incredible support during Sandy's final days. This support allowed him to pass peacefully and without pain in his own home. If you would like, you can use this page to make a donation in Sandy's memory. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, your words have provided much comfort at this sad time.
From Marie Curie:
Marie Curie's Summer collections have been put on hold as volunteers are currently unable to collect on the streets, in shops and public places. During this unsettling time, its critical that Marie Curie Nurses continue to provide care to families in need.Marie Curie believe that everyone living with a terminal illness should be able to get the most from the time they have left, however hard that may sometimes feel. The right care means everything to families living with a terminal illness. Thanks to supporters like you, Marie Curie can be there for more families. Your donation will help support people living with a terminal illness across the UK, so thank you.
