Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me over the past few years to raise money for cancer research and breast cancer care. Many of you know why this cause is so close to my heart.

Last year we walked 20 miles in the Peak District – 14 of us walked and we were supported by our friend Nora who was recovering from breast cancer. We managed to raise over £10,000 to add the £5000 raised in earlier years. Nora was amazed and vowed to walk with us this year.

Sadly, Nora lost her battle against this awful disease at Christmas. So this year we have decided to walk 20 miles around the South Downs in her memory. We will be sharing the walk with Paul, Nora’s husband and members of her family, who are walking in her place.

It will be a tremendously emotional day but I do hope you find time to sponsor me again. Let’s beat this disease once and for all!
