In loving memory of Ronan Costello

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Ronan Costello was a wonderful young man, his passion in life was to become a rugby league star, Ronan's love and passion for the game shone through, he was a natural leader, and all who met him took a piece of him with them, a very charismatic lad, who was respectful to all he came in contact with.
Sadly on the 11th June 2016, Ronan sustained an injury in a tragic accident on the rugby pitch on 11th June, Ronan sadly passed away peacefully on 14th June surrounded by his family and friends.
All his life Ronan wanted to be a rugby league superstar and I can honestly say that dream became reality, Ronan touched the hearts of all he met, he was a lad who loved making people smile, a joker, gentle, respectful, caring, funny, loyal and who loved to spend time with his family, he loved his mum, dad, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends so much.
For the last 4 years Ritchie Hawkyard who himself has played the game at international level has organised and held an annual touch and pass tournament, choosing a different charity yearly to raise funds for. This year any funds raised will be donated to the Danny Jones Defibulator Fund in Ronan's Memory
This years event will take place on the 20th Aug at Slaithwaite Rugby Pitch at 11am
I have set up this just giving page to allow us to reach out to a wider audience and hopefully raise a fantastic amount to allow Defibulators to be purchased for sports clubs
Please feel free to come along on the 20th Aug and support the 14 teams taking part in this annual event in Ronan's Memory💙
