As you are all aware, I have spent the last year battling breast cancer. What you might not be aware of is that I have a form called Triple Negative Breast Cancer, which is much rarer and super aggressive! This form of cancer has less treatment options and has only been given a lot of attention recently. However, much research is needed to fully understand this form and treat it as effectively as other cancers. CANCER RESEARCH HAS ALLOWED ME TO TAKE PART IN A CLINICAL TRIAL TO TRY AND SAVE MY LIFE AND OTHERS WHO FOLLOW ME! !! I'm taking part in this race with my mother (who has brain tumours), my six year old daughter Ayvae and many friends and family to raise funds to ensure cancer research continues not just for me but for the following generations affected by this horrible disease.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.
