OUR ANIMALS NEED US

In June I will be walking 26miles from Avebury to Stonehenge, hopefully in under 8 hours.  I will also be collecting at Cadbury Garden Centre one morning in June and again in September, then the main event in November 2011 when I will be joining a charity trek into the Sahara Desert. Taking up this challenge means walking in deep sand in extreme heat and camping in freezing temperatures. On waking I have to check my boots for scorpions before setting off again.   There will be drinking water only so washing will be done with wet-wipes, for a couple of days!  It truly is a challenge and as it is self funding, ALL money will go to help our lovely animals.
