Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

When coming together to start training for this challenge Carrie and Sandra realised that for both of them, close friends and relatives had been blighted by this awful disease.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer and we seem relatively unaware of this fact. Over 41,000 people are diagnosed every year and when you know someone close to you who is suffering and fighting this awful condition it brings it in to sharp focus. If diagnosed early, over 90% of bowel cancer cases can be treated succesfully.

Please take the time to support Bowel Cancer UK, their work aims to save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
