Story
In January 2016, we lost a special family friend who suffered for most of his life from a rare type of MS. The more we tell people that we are running for MS Society, the more we realise that it's a condition affecting more lives than we think. From Sandra's childhood friend - Rim you're on my mind - to Youssef's family friend, we all know someone being treated for MS.
The loss of Mark last year gave us a big reason to challenge ourselves and run the London Marathon this year. This is beyond any distance we've ever run, and from the two months of training we've been doing, it is physically and mentally the hardest thing we've ever done. Yet we are doing it all because we want to raise awareness and money for this cause. In the last few weeks, we've met lots of inspiring runners raising money for equally deserving charities. MS Society not only needs the financial support but also the recognition of the importance of finding a cure.
We need to raise £5,000 before the 22nd of April 2018. Help us reach this goal in order to make every painfully cold practice run worth it. Oh and the loss of a few toe nails too...
Thank you so much for taking the time to support us and the MS Society. It means the world to us and many many others...
