On 10th July 2022, we (Roger and Sandie) will be running the London 10k as part of 'Team Becky'.

Our beautiful daughter Becky would have been 30 years old shortly after this year’s ASICS London 10k run. Instead she is forever 11¾ as her life was tragically cut short by Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) in May 2004.

Over the last 18 years, we have supported SUDEP Action in their tireless efforts to reduce risk of SUDEP in those with epilepsy and raise awareness of this silent killer which claims 3 young lives every day in the UK alone. Tragically, many people with epilepsy are still unaware of SUDEP although we know the majority of epilepsy deaths could be avoided with better awareness and management of risk.

We are so very grateful to everyone who has taken part in Team Becky over the last decade or so and, of course, to the many family, friends and complete strangers who have sponsored us in Becky's memory, raising vital funds for SUDEP Action. Any support you can give us again this year would be amazing.
