Story
In 2019, after a five-year battle with Bladder Cancer, Michael’s Hospice journey was a short one. Hospice care helped him manage his pain at home and when his condition deteriorated and stronger medicine was required, he was loaded up into an ambulance, a beer in hand, and taken to Hospice House. What a restful, mostly peaceful time it was for him. He saw his Eagles win surrounded by family and friends. Even though he had to leave us for now, we will meet again one day! We love and miss you Michael.
The Grief Counseling offered helped me immensely. Hospice is about care for families as well. You can help keep these services and programs available.
Taking place June 5, 2021, the annual St. Luke's Hospice Bike Ride offers an opportunity for the hospice community to join together and ride in remembrance of loved ones who have passed away. I invite you to make a gift in support of St. Luke's Hospice in Michael’s memory. I’ll be cycling and I know he’ll be cheering me on! Any donation amount helps. Thank You! Sandi
