We support families after a death on duty to help rebuild their shattered lives

Story

On 5th March 2010, my life changed forever. My beautiful son, Daniel was killed whilst riding his motorcycle to work. Dan was just 25. On 26th July this year, he would've been 30 years old. In memory of Daniel, I'm taking part in a charity cycle ride called the 'Unity Tour'. This is in honour of police officers who have lost their lives when on duty.

I've never ridden a bike before, I'm in the process of learning. The stabilisers are just off!

On 18th July I will leave The Mall, London with 75 police officers and 'survivors' finishing on the 20th a mere 170 miles at the National Arboretum. There, an annual memorial service  will be held by the charity 'Care of Police Survivors'.

'C.O.P.S.' has been a source of comfort and support for my family and me since losing Daniel.

I'd be really grateful for your support (any little you can spare) in raising funds in Daniel's memory.

http://ukcops.org -  a  help group at any time of the day/night but more. The charity brings 'survivors' together for on a variety of separate days, parents, spouses/partners, siblings and of course especially the children who have lost mum or dad on duty.

Thank-you .
