Story
This festive season, Translators without Borders (TWB) are launching their Language for a Just World appeal, which aims to raise $100,000 to help use language to build a more just world.
Everyone should be able to communicate about COVID-19, no matter what language they speak. Translators without Borders is making sure that no one’s voice is left unheard because of language barriers. This is more important now than ever—when access to information is literally a matter of life and death. Join the fundraiser, and help curb the global COVID-19 “info-demic.”
Celebrate our shared humanity this Christmas by supporting Sandberg and TWB to change lives using language.

How do we support this cause?
Sandberg is encouraging all our staff, partners and friends to raise £750 by 18 December to support Translators without Borders through this Christmas fundraising appeal. We will top up the final sum raised here (up to £750) by 25%.
This year, we’ve not been able to organise an in-person fundraising event. However, something many of us have taken comfort in during lockdowns and COVID-19 restrictions is baking. Who doesn’t enjoy a home-baked sweet treat, especially at this time of year?
If we reach our donation targets of £150, £300, £500 and £750, we will release images and recipes of Sandberg employees baking various Scandi Christmas treats. If we reach our goal, you’ll have four fantastic Nordic recipes to try out over the festive period and you will have helped a worthy cause.
