We have chosen the Percy Hedley Foundation as Sand worked there for a while during the mid 2000's. She was inspired by the work of the charity and although her role was that of PA she spent a great deal of time with the young people and adults attending the centre. The students and the amazing work that the staff did there really touched Sand and she always said that once I let her retire she would go back there and become a volunteer, sadly that wasn't to be, but we hope that by setting up this page in Sand's memory she is now playing a part in supporting this fantastic organisation.
