Story

I am taking on the 2022 Cardiff Half Marathon in memory of my dad Micky, and to help raise vital funds for Cancer Research Wales.

My dad lost his two year battle with cancer on Sunday 1st October 2017, the same day the Cardiff Half Marathon was taking place. I vowed to take part in the event one day in his memory.

I am new to running and must say it doesn't come naturally to me, I'm determined to finish the race but I can't promise it will be in record breaking time!

Finally I'd like to give credit to my fantastic running partner Liz who is also running for a very worthy cause.
