We are running for our beautiful daughter Efa, who we said goodbye to on 21/12/22
Efa was only with us for a short space of time, but in those 2 months she couldn't have made us prouder, her bravery, strength and sassyness gave us so many beautiful moments together.
Why we are running for Claire house?
Claire house got involved after the 20 weeks scan, supporting us through a difficulty pregnancy, and after Efa was born. With there help, it meant we were able to make memories with our beautiful daughter that wasn’t in a hospital and be a normal (ish) mum and dad, spending our last 7 hours with our daughter at the hospice, before she past away peacefully in our arms, and have continued supporting us ever since.
I can’t explain or express how grateful we are to this amazing charity, this has been the toughest thing we have ever gone through. The loss of a child is more painful than we ever expected. But to know that we have so many caring people at Claire House to help and support us helps so much.
