Sam's Memory Walk for Nan

Plymouth Memory Walk 2018 · 1 September 2018 ·
I am completing a 5km memory walk alongside my Mum and my Sister in memory of our Mum/Nan, Jean Wood, who sadly passed away recently after her 10 year battle with dementia. Our Nan was a happy, caring and fun character and we was extremely lucky to have such a fantastic Nan. Jean was always joking around, always making sure she and others had the time of there life, and was an excellent, thoughtful, and caring Nan. She will be extremely missed and will certainly be irreplaceable.
Although this isn't the most dangerous or challenging activity that could be done, this is something that is extremely close to our hearts and we wants to help raise money for this fantastic charity who helps support those affected by dementia across the whole country. Dementia is a cruel disease of the brain which doesn't just affect those with dementia but also those family/friends of people affected by dementia. Please help us raise as much money as possible to help support the Alzheimer's Society continue with the fantastic support and work that they do!
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
