We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

For a year now, I've been waiting to join my friends Jamie and Tom on their mission of taking on increasingly strenuous challenges in support of of a very good cause, Cancer Research UK.

Cancer Research helped my Mum get experimental treatment, involving a two year course on Rituximab which has made a tremendous difference with her Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Over the last few years, Cancer has affected so many of our close friends and family members so the  work that Cancer Research does is incredibly important. It's scary that Cancer can affect absolutely anyone, at any time, even those who have otherwise completely healthy lives.

The Spartan Beast is the longest and toughest race in the Spartan series, consisting  of a half marathon with 26 military-style obstacles to complete along the way. Considered one of the hardest obstacle-course races in the country, this is a personal challenge as well as a great opportunity to support an amazing charity.

Any sponsorship would be hugely appreciated whether in donations to our run, or to the charity in any other way possible!
