Story
23-11-2011 Dear All, thank you so much for the very kind messages, donations and support for Sam and us all. In consultation with Sams friends who have lots of fundraising plans we've decided to try and get his total to £10,000 which would be fantastic. If we can achieve this we would then like to set up a new page for Sam supporting Brain Tumour research and carry on the fundraising. Watch this space! A great night was had last night at the Yorkshire Rose, Guiseley, with a quiz in Sam's honour, well done everyone, great support. Thanks again on behalf of all Sam's family.

Thank you to everyone for helping support Macmillan Cancer Support. On Sunday 25th September at midday Sam passed away. However Sam's memory and strength will live on and his family will continue to raise money for the charities which supported Sam during his life.

Hi everyone and welcome to my Just Giving page.
As most of you know I was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 10 and after lots of treatment I was given the all clear. At the time I was given lots of help from Candlelighters, Sargents and Macmillan cancer care charities. I've tried to help repay them by raising money with family and friends over the years.
Unfortunately, 6 months after starting my job as a childrens nursery assistant, which I have just loved, I've been diagnosed again with a different type of brain tumour and I have decided not to have any Chemotherapy which made me feel lousy the first time. So I'm trying to have as much fun as possible while I can. My mates and work colleagues have been brilliant inviting me out and looking after me at the pub, restaurants and parties.
To thank all my family and friends, I'm throwing a party and because its near my birthday some of you may have been tempted to buy me a present, but please dont. Instead, please would you donate to Macmillan Cancer Support on this page because I am going to be relying on their help to support me and the family over the coming few months. I would like to try and raise at least £1000. Macmillan are a great charity and they help support lots of people and their families through the difficult times when someone has cancer. Thanks in anticipation of you helping me, helping them, helping me and others.
