Story
First off, if you’ve come this far then it’s a big thank you to you. I really appreciate the time you’re taking to read my story.
Nothing could have prepared me for the loss of my Mum to cancer a few years ago. I feel that those we lose physically stay with us spiritually but it’s the physical we miss, the hugs, the support, the warmth. And essentially a loss like that just leaves you completely hollowed out. Words don’t do justice to the void it leaves in you and sadly too many of the people reading this will be able to relate to that.
So when my good friend, business partner and occasional antagonist Ross told me he was putting a team together to raise money and awareness for Teenage Cancer Trust (having lost a close childhood friend of his own at too young an age) I was more than keen to be a part of it. All the money we raise goes to providing cancer care and support for some of the most vulnerable people that are being affected by the big C.
We’ll be decorating an ancient VW beetle and taking part in a rally across Mexico (at our own expense) to raise awareness for this great cause. We’re dedicating a chunk of Salad Kitchen revenues to it and pleading with friends and family for contributions.
Here I’m asking for a small donation. Doesn’t have to be much, just anything you can spare for a great cause because it will help a lot. We’ll raise money along the way and spread the word to the masses.
