The Sammy Jo Brandon Foundation will help friends and family remember her and raise money for Children with Cancer UK, the idea
was first suggested by her cousin Robyn in May 2018 just a few days after Sammy Jo lost her battle with triple negative breast cancer at the age of 29.  (8/8/88 - 14/5/18)

Kim (Sammy Jo's Mum), Matt  (Sammy Jo's Dad),  Danny (Sammy Jo's brother) and Jack (Sammy Jo's Partner) all thought it was a great idea so four months later we are all set up.

Sammy Jo always wanted children of her own, she would get upset knowing children were going through the same horrible effects of her treatment. February 2018 we got the devastating news the Cancer had
returned in her brain and lungs and only had weeks to live, over the following weeks there was a lot of hard conversation with her, one of the topics was about raising money at her funeral and she said the money raised must go to Children with Cancer UK. We raised £6485 at the funeral and handed the BIG cheque over a couple of weeks ago to them.

When you lose someone it leaves you devastated it could be a friend or a close family member but it has an effect on you in some way.  Sammy Jo was loved by so many people, once you had met her with her infectious laugh you never forgot her .
