Story
On the morning of Monday 15th February, I logged on to the school app to see what school work Cohen had from last week and saw his teacher had posted a challenge to "walk 100 steps" in memory of Captain Sir Tom Moore. I told Cohen about this challenge set by his teacher and his response was, "That's too easy. I don't want to do that. I want to ride my bike instead." So we have set a challenge for him to cycle 100 miles instead. I thought I would set up a fundraising page for him as cycling 100 miles for a 4 year old is incredible and what better way to raise money for an amazing cause. Cohen is bike mad. He got his first bike for his 2nd birthday which was a balance bike. He took to it like a duck to water within a couple of days. A couple months later I urged his dad to get him a pedal bike as I knew he was ready. Within a couple of weeks he had mastered the pedals and there has been no stopping him since! Please, if you can spare any money however big or small, Cohen would be so grateful. All monies raised will be going straight to The Captain Tom Foundation, which is an amazing charity in memory of an amazing man. Thank you :)
Carrying on his journey, Captain Tom and his family want to keep on helping people. This is about raising as much money as we can to inspire hope where it is needed most. We want to combat loneliness, support people facing bereavement and champion education and equality, all while inspiring a new generation of Captain Toms. By supporting The Captain Tom Foundation, you’ll be helping us spread hope and make a real difference to people’s lives. Donate now!
