As many of you will know my nephew Auzair suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and for the last 5-6 years the family have been raising money to directly fund research into a cure for this life limiting condition. Having already jumped out of plane and run a half marathon I’ve set myself the task of trekking to Machu Picchu. I won’t lie it’s going to be a challenge as it involves trekking up to 9 hours a day at altitudes up to 4600m over a 5 day period!
