Story
Bismillahir rahmānir raheem,
Abu Musa reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the believers are like bricks of a building, each part strengthening the other,” and the Prophet clasped his fingers together.

Many of our brothers, sisters and children are not able to fast due to the tough realities they face in Gaza, which results in them needing urgent medical surgeries. However, due to lack of equipment and funds they are not able to get the care they need.
This ramadan I would like to ask you to help me raise £1000 to help 5 individual members of our blessed ummah to receive the life saving surgeries they so desperately need.
Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”

Vital surgeries in Gaza
100% Zakat applicable
“Whoever saves the life of one, it is as if he saved the whole of mankind” (Quran 5:32)
£200 – provide a vulnerable Palestinian in Gaza with surgery for a critical health condition.
16 years of blockade in Gaza has destroyed the healthcare system, and put medicines in chronic shortage. Right now 37% of essential medicines have zero stock, leaving hospitals unable to treat patients, directly affecting those who have cancer, kidney complications, and immunity conditions.
This Ramadan, be a mercy to a person who is sick. Provide life-saving surgery in Gaza in this month of mercy. £200 will provide one person with essential surgery, such as operations on the eyes, stomach, muscles, or throat, or paediatric surgery.
Medicines at zero stock
Right now, 3,000 Palestinians are awaiting surgery in Gaza. But hospitals face power cuts, water shortages, and the blockade, as well as increased disease and mortality rates in Gaza because of years of marginalization.
Help us to ease the burden on hospitals, while helping sick people to receive the treatment they need. We’ll provide the medicine, equipment and staff pay to provide 400 patients with surgery, including at Gaza’s largest hospital - Al Shifa.
Our work in Palestine
We’ve been changing lives in Palestine for 30 years. Our recent work includes disinfecting the entire water network of Gaza, building a desalination plant for 15,000 people at Al Aqsa University, and helping to fight the critical medical crisis by providing tens of thousands of medical supplies. Last year, we helped 2,047,971 people in Palestine through food security, medical, water and sanitation projects.
Be a mercy to sick people in Gaza who have endured 16 years of blockade and cyclical war by providing essential surgeries.
Donate, and reap the blessings of this month of mercy, while being a mercy to marginalised people.
Please note, if sufficient funds are not raised for a particular project, your donation may be reallocated to where the need is greatest.
