I will be walking a marathon 26.2 miles with colleagues from the TUI Business Transformation Team across the Chiterns & the Ridgeway on 5th October in memory of our colleague Sam Sullivan who sadly passed away on 1st June from Sarcoma.
By participating in this event I am supporting Sarcoma UK, Sam's chosen charity, to raise awareness of the only cancer charity in the UK that is focused on all types of Sarcoma, a cancer of the bone & soft tissue.
It is currently one of the hardest cancers to diagnose and treat. Unfortunately the chances of people diagnosed with Sarcoma living 3 years or more is 64.5% so as you can imagine a lot more needs to be done to assist with early diagnosis and better treatment options.
By donating, you will be helping to fund vital research projects, raising awareness of the symptoms of Sarcoma to help patients get an early diagnosis, and ensuring everyone gets access to specialist treatment.
Any contribution you are able to make really does help. Thank you.
