Hello, and welcome to my attempt at raising money. Having largely failed at doing it for myself, I'm now in the process of doing it for those good folk at the British Heart Foundation. The idea is that I swim one mile across Weymouth Bay on Sunday August 10th, 2008, and in return everyone I know coughs up a combined total of (at least) £500. If people donate through this site, the charity also gets a certain amount extra in Gift Aid, the ins-and-outs of which I can't profess to know.
