Walking 50 miles with Rosie in November for The Samaritans

Walk 50 miles with your dog in November · 1 November 2023 to 30 November 2023 ·
Prior to 2018, I didn’t realise who the Samaritans were. Fast forward to 2023, I can honestly say that the service the Samaritans provided to me in my time of need is something I will never ever forget.
It is important to me to advocate for those who are struggling because I have been there myself. We all try our best to navigate through life and it’s ups and downs but it is important to help make sure there is someone there for anyone who needs someone. Every ten seconds, the Samaritans answer a call for help. I want to do my bit to help ensure those calls get answered! 💚
So, I’m taking on the Samaritans Walk 50 miles with little Rosie in November to give back to the Samaritans for helping me all those years ago which will hopefully allow them to reach more people who need their crucial help.
The Samaritans are not only there for the moment of crisis, they are key in taking action to prevent the crisis. They give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others. Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy, and The Samaritans’ vision is that fewer people die by suicide. That’s why they work tirelessly to reach more people and make suicide prevention a priority.
We must change the narrative of the conversation and do more by each other. We are all in this world together and it’s a lot easier when we have people there to help us.
If you could donate anything to this cause, I would be extremely grateful, and I know (really know) what this money will go towards and it really is invaluable.
