I'm raising funds for Wessex Cancer Trust to help them provide valuable extra help for local cancer patients that the NHS just cannot stretch to. I've seen many friends and family live through cancer and it's treatment and had my own experience with treatment for breast cancer three years ago. It's only when you have cancer you realise how profound an impact it has on every aspect of your life. I've recovered now and I'm determined to make the most of my second chance. I've learnt to swim in the last few weeks and now I want to put my new found ability to good use to help others with their cancer journey. During my lunch breaks in August, I will be swimming, cycling and running my way to completing an Olympic virtual triathlon.
