Tragically, we lost an amazing wife and mum, Margaret on the 18th November 2021 to lung cancer.   Margaret was diagnosed with cancer, on her own whilst in hospital in December 2020.  The pandemic prevented us from being with her, which was beyond heart breaking.  

Margaret decided at that moment that she wouldn't allow the cancer to get in the way and fought hard to not let it get the better of her.  We always knew Margaret was an amazing lady, but her determination, strength of will and positivity each day was a true inspiration.  That was my wife and my mum! One in a million!   

To show our support to people living with cancer and their families, we have signed up to take part in a fundraising event called 'Together we Walk' to raise money for Maggie's.  Maggie's is an independent charity who provide free cancer support and information in their Centres alongside NHS hospitals and online (www.maggies.org).

On Saturday 11th June, we will be walking a 5km route in Winchester to raise money to help families, like ours change the way they cope with cancer.
