Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 14th March 2020 I will be walking from the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge to Petals Office in Bottisham, in memory of my son Theo who was born sleeping on 21st March 2019.
Theo was born at 38 and a half weeks with no heartbeat. Our family was broken, we all struggled to come to terms with the loss. I personally didn’t know how I was going to carry on being a mum to our other two children. I was at a loss, unsure of how I felt or what to do, we then meet Sue who was our petals counsellor. She has helped us no end, she has helped us realise that our thoughts and feelings were normal. She has helped us cope with the loss as a family. If it wasn’t for petals I don’t know how I would be coping now.
Currently, the charity receives no funding to support parents and relies on the generosity of individual donations to fund this much-needed service. My aim is to show the NHS/ CCG how important this service is by encouraging as many people as possible to join us on the walk, whilst raising money to fund counselling sessions for as many families as possible.
The walk is 7.5 miles in total and is suitable for all abilities. Please help support an amazing charity anyway you can.
