Royal Voluntary Service has been a huge part of my life for over 14 years, I feel as strongly and enthusiastic about the support we provide for older people now, as I did on my first day. Loneliness and isolation have devastating consequences and Royal Voluntary Service is there to help. We want to continue the work and reach more people and that means money.

For those of you that know me well, you will understand that at the moment I would have a problem running for a bus, never mind a 10k! However, after lots of collective fundraising efforts or supporting others, I felt it was about time I put myself out there with a personal challenge! My husband has agreed to run with me, making sure I stay on course (not known for my sense of direction), and our shared support of Royal Voluntary Service.
