Story
Anyone who knows me knows that my pooch Dolly is my life, in April 2022 she was diagnosed with metastatic solid mammary adenocarcinoma - a tumour that has spread to her lymph nodes, that is unfortunately cancerous.
Luckily we had pet insurance that covered a portion of the bill, but not everyone does, some people aren't in the position to be able to handle an unexpected vet bill. Especially when they can be so expensive. We wouldn't have been eligible for help fully from PDSA but services like this are needed. Every animal should be treated properly no matter the owners' circumstances so I really want to raise money for PSDA so they can continue the work they do in order to provide free or low-cost veterinary care for those who need it.
I’ll be running the London Marathon in support of PDSA alongside my auntie, Julie Bell.
