I recently visited my great grandmother (wee nana). she has Alzheimer's. this means a part of her brain isn't working right and she cant remember  most things such as who i am and things shes done that day. she can remember her name and her house but it comes and goes a lot. well when i went to her house she was fine and chatting away, then she asked who i was again and who my nana was witch is her daughter. she kept asking what my name was through out the visit. its really hard when someone that you love cant remember much and this is what this charity is to do. it helps the family deal with their loved ones and makes the journey easier. i was really pleased with the carer who came in to give wee nana her lunch as she was so caring and had a connection with her. it hurts to see people you love forget you but the best thing is that you don’t forget them! x
