Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’ve signed up to walk the Inca Trail, Peru in June 2012. The most famous trek in South America. 26 Miles of high altitude trecking leading to the sacred city of Machu Picchu. I am doing this on behalf of the Daisy Chain Project Teesside to raise some much needed funds. My training at home has now begun, although this will be a challenging experience at the same time it is an amazing opportunity for myself and puts me in a position to help raise funds for such a worthwhile charity.
Daisy Chain is a unique charity that addresses the needs of children on the autism spectrum and their families. The charity, which was established in 2003, provides a range of services, including support and activity groups for the whole family from the 5.5 acre farm in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees.
10.10.11 - A massive thankyou to everyone who has sponsored and supported me, coming up next - Bag Packing at Morrisons, Teesside Park 21.10.11. I have roped in my lovely friends and family so those of you who shop on a friday get to Morrisons, it will be worth it just for the laugh !!!
Its a long time since i updated so i thought i best keep you all informed of all our good work. The bag packing was completed and a fun day had by all, which ended up in the pub... of course!! I decided why not have a bit of fun and dance so arranged a charity evening for the 9th December 2012.... it was fantastic and with the help of everyone we raised a considerable amount of money for the Daisy Chain....I have now hit the £3500.00 target so i guess this is where i stop ....hmm i think not !!
