Story

Thanks for coming to visit my page!

Most of you will be aware that my Grandmother sadly passed away from bowel cancer earlier this year. Bowel cancer is the 2nd biggest cancer killer in the UK yet over 90% of cases can be treated successfully if caught in time. Beating Bowel Cancer is dedicated to raising awareness of bowel cancer and promoting early diagnosis so more lives can be saved.

That is why I, and some of my family and friends, have all decided to run 5km to raise money for this very important cause. And you can contribute too! Please donate any money you are able to. I have set a fairly small target because we are all sharing the fundraising between us. But that means its acheivable. So please give whatever you can. Even 50p will contribute to a cause which my family and I feel is very important and which can significantly improve the lives of the 100 people diagnosed with bowel cancer every day.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks very much!

Sam
