Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As alot of you know, I lost my Mum to cancer. She chose to be cared for at the Marie Curie Hospice in Bradford and I can honestly say, the care they gave to Mum couldn't have been better. Mum was comfortable and in an environment she felt safe in which was all - we as her family - could wish for in the last days and weeks of her life. 

They not only cared for Mum, they gave us she left, the support we needed too.

More recently, my Nana was also cared for by them. Again, Nana was happy to be cared for by the Marie Curie nurses after seeing how Mum was cared for. 

For these reasons, I'm taking part in my first Marie Curie Event - it certainly won't be the last!
