We set ourselves the challenge of running a half marathon several months ago and now the day of 11th October is fast approaching. A combination of madness, age, and a glass or two of red wine made us believe that running 13 miles would not be a problem in spite of having done no running since I left school...which was a few years ago!

I want to combine the challenge and raise as much money as possible for the Stroke Association. They do phenomonal work in researching the causes of strokes and supporting those who have suffered from them. Every penny donated makes a difference, so please can I ask that you sponsor me with any of your spare pennies. Thank you so much.
