Story
Thanks for visiting my Justgiving page.
I'm raising money to say an enormous thank you to the craniofacial unit in Oxford where my son was treated in 2007. I have been looking for a big challange to support this amazing unit....and I think I've found it. On August 30th I'll be swimming from Europe to Asia across the worlds busiest shipping lane. The Hellespont is a 5KM stretch of water made famous by Lord Byron who swam it in 1810, inspired by the Greek legend of Leander and Hero. I'll be dodging jellyfish and sharks to swim from Eceabat on the European side to Canakkale in Asia.
Please sponsor me and help the craniofacial unit continue their truly inspirational treatment of children with rare and disfiguiring conditions. If you missed the recent BBC2 documentary following the patients through their treatment you can catch it on iplayer to see what they do.
Thank you so much, my generous friends.
